Facts, Figures and Specifics

We see great candidates all the time with terrible resumes. The biggest issue we see is that the "bullets" lack facts, figures and specifics. We call these "soft" bullets and 90% of the resumes we see from job seekers who have been actively looking more than 90 days have this issue. We like to see "hard bullets"

Here is an example:
SOFT:

• Award winning software salesperson who overachieved quota in 2001 and 2002.
  

HARD:

• Award winning software sales person selling into industrial accounts across the Southeast United States. Quota and attainment breakdown: 2001; $5MM Quota with attainment of $7. 2002; $6MM Quota with attainment of $6.2MM
